Sign Instant Message (SIM) app for iPhone and iPad

Sign Instant Message (SIM) is an instant messaging app that uses sign language alphabets. It supports real-time chats over the Internet using both fingerspelling and plain text. You can now chat with your SIM friends using your preferred sign language alphabet.

SIM currently offers 10 sign language alphabets to choose from:
1. American Sign Language (ASL)
2. Australian Sign Language (Auslan)
3. British Sign Language (BSL)
4. Cypriot Sign Language (CSL)
5. French Sign Language (LSF)
6. Greek Sign Language (GSL)
7. Indian Sign Language (ISL)
8. Irish Sign Language (ISL)
9. New Zealand Sign Language (NZSL)
10. South African Sign Language (SASL)

We are continuously working to add more sign language alphabets.

SIM has two main objectives:
1. To provide sign language instant messaging communication that is enjoyable, useful and also cost-friendly.
2. To bridge the gap between the Deaf and Hearing cultures. By allowing users of each culture to have instant messaging chats using their first language, communication can be more effective and pleasant.

Once SIM is installed on your phone, you will be provided with 100 free messages. By sharing the app with your friends, you can receive more free messages. If you wish to continue using the app after your free messages are finished, you are able to purchase subscriptions.

SIM Features:
• On-screen sign language alphabet keyboards.
• Receive and send messages in sign language or plain text.
• Translate sign language messages into plain text messages and vice versa.
• Translate the entire message instantly or translate a message word-by-word.
• Message in Motion (MiM) to view sign language messages in motion. The speed of the motion can be adjusted to improve viewing experience.
• Two different background themes: a high-contrast black and yellow background theme and a low-contrast grey background theme.
• Learning mode to view both sign language and plain text simultaneously in a message.
• Learn alphabet to practice your sign language or text alphabets
• Set the size of the sign language and plain text characters.
• Chat with friends in your contact list that also have SIM installed.
• Receive 100 free messages upon installation.
• Receive extra free messages when sharing SIM with your friends that also install SIM.
